Routing Folders (Pro Tools)
Learn how to automatically move tracks into routing folders in Forte Import.
Preparing your session
Before moving tracks, ensure your session has already been analyzed and organized by Forte Import.
All tracks should be assigned to their appropriate categories and routing destinations.
Moving tracks to routing folders
In the Forte Import interface, locate and click the
Move Tracks
button.
Forte will automatically move all tracks into their corresponding routing folders in your Pro Tools session.
You don’t need to manually drag or assign tracks—Forte handles the entire process for you.
Automated organization
As soon as you click “Move Tracks,” you’ll see tracks jump into the correct routing folders at the right moment.
The process is fully automated, ensuring that every track is placed in its designated folder and routed as intended.
This feature saves significant time, especially in large sessions with complex routing needs.
Ready for mixing
After moving tracks, your Pro Tools project is perfectly organized: all tracks are in the right folders, with proper routing already set up.
You can immediately begin mixing, with no extra manual folder or routing management required.
