Learn how to organize, load, and save presets in Forte Import.
Accessing preset management
Click on Customize in the Forte Import interface.
At the top of the Customize menu, you’ll see the Preset section. By default, the “Default” preset is loaded.
Loading a preset
Click to open the preset dropdown menu.
Select the preset you want to use (for example, a preset tailored for Pro Tools).
When you load a preset, Forte Import will instantly update all session settings: colors, categories, organization, ordering, and routing will all change to match the selected preset.
Saving and reusing presets
After customizing your session (categories, colors, routing, etc.), you can save your configuration as a new preset.
Name the preset and save it for future use.
Saved presets can be exported and imported, making it easy to move your setup between computers or studios.
Why use presets?
Presets allow you to instantly switch between different session setups, adapting to various DAW templates or studio workflows.
You can bring your preferred organization, color coding, and routing with you wherever you go, ensuring consistency and saving setup time.
