Bounce with shortcuts (Pro Tools)
Learn how to quickly create custom prints (grouped track exports) in Forte Export using shortcuts.
Selecting tracks in your DAW
Open your Pro Tools session and locate the tracks you want to group into a custom print.
For example, select four tracks you want to print together.
Creating a custom print with a shortcut
With your desired tracks selected, press
Command + Option + C
on your keyboard.
This shortcut instantly groups the selected tracks and creates a custom print in Forte Export.
Creating additional prints
To create another print (for example, for percussion tracks), select the relevant tracks.
Use a different shortcut, such as
Command + Option + B
, to group these tracks into a new print that prints them individually and sequentially.
Each print is created immediately and appears in your Forte Export print list.
Immediate feedback
After using the shortcuts, you’ll see both custom prints listed in Forte Export, ready for export.
This method allows you to create multiple custom prints in seconds, without navigating menus.
