Learn how to set up and organize all your print (export) parameters in Logic Pro using Forte Export.

Print Parameters (Logic Pro)

Accessing print settings

  • Click on “Print Selected” in Forte Export to open the print settings page.
  • Here, you can organize and customize all export parameters before starting the bounce process.

Setting the base name

  • Enter a base name for your exported files (e.g., “Test”) to keep your stems and mixes organized.

Choosing audio file type

  • Select the desired audio file format (such as WAV or AIFF) for your export.

Bounce options

  • Decide whether to bounce the master or not, depending on your needs.
  • Choose the bounce method:
    • Automatic
    • Offline
    • Real-time
  • These options mirror those available in Logic Pro, letting you match your DAW’s workflow.

Setting bit depth and sample rate

  • Select your preferred bit depth and sample rate for the exported files, ensuring they match your project or delivery requirements.

Additional settings

  • Adjust other export options as needed, such as:
    • Include autotail
    • Normalize
    • Add to project
  • These settings function just like their counterparts in Logic Pro, giving you full control over your bounce.

Choosing export location

  • Click to select the folder where you want your printed files to be saved.
  • Pick your preferred destination to keep your files organized and easy to find.

Starting the print

  • After confirming all your settings, click “Print” to begin the export.
  • Forte will process your selections and export the files according to your chosen parameters.
