Learn how to quickly edit your custom prints in Forte Export.

Rename, edit, delete prints
  • After you have created your custom prints (for example, percussion groups or individual tracks), locate the print you want to rename in the Forte Export interface.
  • Double-click directly on the name of the print.
  • Type your new name (for example, change “Percussion G” to “Percussion Group” or “Percussion Individual” for single tracks).
  • Press Enter or click away to confirm the new name.
  • Repeat for any other prints you wish to rename.

How to edit prints

  • Locate the print you want to edit in the Forte Export interface.
  • Click on the three dots (“...”) next to the print’s name to open the options menu.
  • Select “Edit” from the dropdown menu.
  • Once in edit mode, you can modify the tracks included in the print.
  • For example, if you want to add the snare track to the top of the print, simply select and add it.
  • Rearrange, add, or remove tracks as needed to fit your desired configuration.
  • After making your adjustments, save the edited print.
  • Your custom print is now updated and ready for export with the new configuration.

How to delete/clear your prints

Deleting a single print

  • In Forte Export, locate the print (stem) you want to delete.
  • Click on the three dots (“...”) next to the print’s name to open the options menu.
  • Select “Delete” to remove that specific print from your list.

Deleting multiple prints (clear selected)

  • If you want to delete several prints at once, use the selection tool:
    • Select the prints you wish to remove (you can select all if needed).
    • Click “Clear Selected.”
    • Confirm the deletion to remove all selected prints at once.
